And how do you consider neutral?

I think pac deserves this. If floyd did something great maybe he can claim it

A decade refers to any ten year period, there could be a fighter of the decade 1985-1995. It really makes no difference.

if thats the case..then 3 of Pac's last 4 fights are meaningless ....Marquez , DLH, & Hatton

and Mayweather beat Hatton & Oscar first...if you are going to discredit those wins for PBF then you must discredit them for Pac as well

and Baldomir was more of a legitimate champion than Diaz was..at least he beat A REAL CHAMPION and didnt fight for a vacant title

we don't need neutrals to decide when the decades ends hahaha

I looked at the poll and there are few idiots out there that thinks decade starts 2001

              good god!

You better call ring magazine and tell them this.

Because they've been doing it wrong for 80 years.

And also call historians and major news outlets because apparently according to you they have to change their definitions.

Yes a decade is any ten year time period but for historical eras, it's been consistent and has been for hundreds of years when defining time periods.

                  in an alternate reality maybe

It all depends when people started clocking the decade, and that was invariably on Jan 1st of 2000

                    De la Hoya
                    Cotto
                    Hatton
                    Ledwaba
                    Solis
                    Larios

Active for 10 of 10 years.

                    Someone else do Mayweather...

You could make an argument for either guy, but Pacquiao edges it IMO.

Nah, there's a difference in the way they beat them. People will always focus on how Pacquiao beat Oscar and Hatton vs. how Floyd beat them. Marquez isn't meaningless because Pacquiao fought him at his most effective weights.

Baldomir wasn't very good and you know it. And he had 9 losses, a low KO ratio, and slow. Otherwise, he's brilliant.
