They will fill the stadium up. Not sure if it will completely sell out but they will get 75,000 plus. Texas has a high Hispanic population and although there will not be a Hispanic in the main event, Pacquaio has reached a certain place in the sport that anyone can respect. Plus, I'm sure a good Mexican fighter will be on the card(imagine if they put Margarito on it). Fight will be hyped like crazy so even the general public that really doesn't care about boxing will be interested just to experience it. If tickets are priced correctly, it should do extremely well. They need to really wrap up all the bs by the end of the year so they can have 3 very solid months of promotion.

bring a big event to Texas, and they'll show up...
the only reason the Alamodome filled that many was because of Chavez and his huge fan base + the fight was in TX = MILLIONS of Mexicans.

Dallas is getting the Super Bowl and has hosted large events in the past. They have enough resources to hold the event. The Dallas/Fort Worth area is very large.

well, millions of mexicans there are fight fans...i think that a stadium fight would make it affordable for fans...you wont have the high prized casino seats...between Top Rank, GBP and Jerry Jones, i think they could do it and get an awesome turnout

i think they are crazy greedy mofos if they DON"T put it in Dallas...the chance to show this event to the world in a packed stadium is worth more than dollars....so why on earth would you put it in a 20 thousand seater indoor stadium?!

put it in the biggest place possible - and forget the fine details..boxing needs it.
