Maybe so on this night, but the point is that he completely dominated 4 guys back to back to back to back with completely different styles and stopped 3 out of 4 of them at 37/38 years of age . It was obvious by him throwing 1k+ punches that he was going for the knockout too. The fight was ruined by Johnson so don't mistake that for a bad performance by Vitali. It was masterful for what it was. Vitali took everything that was given to him and Johnson was never close to being in the fight.

Yes he threw alot of punches in his fight with Johnson but for the sole reason that Johnson threw nothing back.

And the some of his last fights like Peter, Arreloa are so easy to hit its ******, plus they come in so over weight.

I think its times for a change of the guard and i think Haye has a very good chance of doing that.. Plus whats Tua got left in the tank would love to see him vs Wlad...
Uh Klitschko would have knocked out both Sam Peter and Arreola had the corners not stopped the fight. Johnson laid back on the ropes the entire fight, of course he's not gonna get knocked out.

Despite Johnson's frustrating negativity, I thoroughly enjoyed that fight in the same way that I did for Wlad-Chagaev. Just a pure beatdown of an irritating 'contender' who didn't really deserve to be in the same ring as the champ.

I'm not sure as to whether Vitali "showed his age" as some are saying, but 1000 punches thrown can't suggest he's suddenly become old overnight.

        Can't wait for 2010.

          Those are Margarito type numbers.

Anyone who thinks he's slipping is dropping acid. It was misleading because Kevin was trying so hard to AVOID any kind of real match.
