Why is that style not used much in boxing? The bobbing, and weaving is seldom used the way Tyson did it back then. That style seems so effective, so why is it not used more?

bigger dudes aren't that agile. Tyson was compact and had a low center of gravity nd huge legs. Most heavies now are tall and fat or tall and have bad balance (Klitchkos) which prohibits the side to side bobbing and Tyson was quick too. If Tyson had a father-like trainer throughout his entire career and remained focused, he would have been unbeatable.

Dunno really, it was a very effective style. Mayweather ducks away from punches but not to get in and attack. Pac has a dulled down version with his side to side head movement but he does not have the bending at the hips like Tyson did. He would probably be the best at adapting that style though given his lower body structure. Maybe it was just something that only Tyson could do?
