I mean, being trainer of the year is the most prestigious award a boxing trainer could possibly get.

Like I said, do you think these other professional fighters who have been fighting all their lives don't know a great trainer when they see one. Fighters from all over the globe are seeking Roach's services, why is that ?
Cuz they rather train in Hollywood than Mexico city?

Sturm's not gonna be training in LA, Roach gettin' flown out to Germany, buddy.

Just like Roach spent the whole training camp with De La Joto in Puerto Rico!

Just like Roach spent half the time in the Philippines.

just like Roach spent some time in the UK for Khan.

I'm sure they would fly out lil ole Nacho out to whatever country they're from.

What people also fail to realize, is that, Nacho also oversees the amateur program for Mexico, having that position gives him first dibs on amateur prospects.

But, back to the question though. How many trainer of the year awards has Nacho won?

Roach is the truth. Lets give him his just do. With his sickness and all, he does a wonderful job with his fighters. When your fighter wins fighter of the year two years in a row, you must be doing something right.

To answer your question? None but is that really your argument? Cuz Roach has won trainer of the year that makes him a better trainer?

            Are you on f**kin' crack

That is the most recognized, prestigous award a trainer can possibly get. Why do you think he has been given that award, and from the looks of it, he's about to win it for '09 as well. That makes Roach the only trainer to win the award 3-4 times, no other coach has achieved that!!

So that means the Buddy, Enzo, J. Mosley, Are better trainers then Nacho?

That means Birmingham and Trinidad Sr are twice as good as Nacho. Since they have won it twice.

Since Roach would be the only trainer to have win 4 trainer of the year award. That would make him the greatest trainer of all time. Ahead of his mentor Eddie Futch.

Are you on fucking crack? Seriously WTF is wrong with you? What kind of logic is that?

Make a better argument don't come at me with no bull****.

For those years those trainers won the award, YES!!

Roach and Futch never got a chance to go head-to-head. However, Nacho and Roach have, and Roach is so far 3-0, baby!!

i think trainers who get hot with certain fighters tend to build a reputation. i think roach is a great trainer, but alot of these people were nowhere to be found years ago when he had vasquez, toney and mike tyson and a few others. think back when mccgirt had tarver, gatti, and a few others. everyone was ringing his phone as well and then he hit this crazy losing streak that started when bojado was forced to use him when oscar was busy with mayweather sr. that loss ended up destroying his career unfortunately.

trainers get hot and people use them, roachs popularity will cool off just like any other trainer, but hes always been good, however hes had his failures. tyson/williams. hopkins/calzhage de la hoya/mayweather, it happens.

I can't believe you really think those trainers were better than Nacho.

So in your opinion cuz Roach has won the most trainer of the year than anybody else. Then he is the greatest trainer of all time?

                      Pac-JMM first fight?

                      Izzy-Rafa first fight?

                      Who won those fights?

Explain to me again how Roach is 3-0 in head-to-head match up against Nacho?
