They called him everything from a coward to a ***** to not even being a "real Mexican". It even got to the point in the Cotto/Pac fight where the crowd started booing and Pac had an embarrassed look on his face like he was embarrassed by Cotto's running.

What gives? Why the double standards when it comes to fighters like Oscar and Floyd?

because Cotto wasn't ahead...he was getting his ass kicked and he had a REASON to run...Oscam was ahead and decided to make it a track meet

When you have a guy beat and outmatched I don't have a problem with getting on your bike and not engaging in the final round. And I definately won't fault a guy with a broken hand for keeping distance if he has the fight in the bag.

Aight yeah I suppose thats the problem. This is a sport and a business if you've come out purely to see someone get knocked out in my humble opinion you should have more respect for the sport. I don't you specifically just in general fight fans who feel this way. I like a good KO like the rest but when you've just outmatched and beat someone all night I don't fault a fighter who falls back in the final round.
