What's funny is you critisize hopkins for beating up "smaller guys" and call them "blown up" fighters, yet when hopkins goes up in weight (at age 40 I remind you) you don't give him any credit. Again using your own logic, hopkins is a blown up middleweight fighting at LH.

Calzaghe was clearly a legit LH since he beat hopkins and later roy jones. He had been planning on leaving 168 for a few years as it was getting extremely difficult for him to make weight. Obviously joe was a legit LH.

If what Hopkins is saying is true about HBO only offering $3 million for him to fight Dawson, I don't blame him one bit for not fighting Chad Dawson. One thing I do think though, is that Dawson is the most overrated fighter on BoxingScene. He has taken Cotto's place. HBO showed highlights of his rematch with Tarver and it showed Tarver teeing off on him at the end of the fight because of Chad fading at the end. Hopkins fought a fresher version of Tarver and dominated him in a wipe out. I would pick that version of Hopkins to beat Chad easily.

2 days later he has an interview with Leon saying Danny Green is a serious option.

blown up middleweight...lol...don't you read for comprehesion?...i said (and everybody knows I have said this consistently) hopkins is a lightheavyweight...so why would i give him any credit for moving down to 160 and back up to 175, when 175 is where he should have been fighting since he lost his first fight..... at 175 mind you...

calzaghe became legit at 175 after he beat hopkins and roy...you are trying to make it seem like calzaghe was a natural 175 lb fighter....he dominated 168, then moved up one division and pimpslapped hopkins, who visibly was still the bigger man at 175...calzaghe grew into 175....hopkins was naturally 175...big difference

yes i said that and i still stand by that...hopkins was not mentioning jones before jones called him out on radio...in public he was talking about fighting the winner of johnson/dawson, or ademek....not roy....at the same time he was sending roy contracts for a 60-40 fight with a 25% payoff off the top for oscar de la hoya, because he knew jones wouldn't accept that...then jones chumped him off on radio so bad that he had no other choice but to make a fight minus the 25% to save face...so yes, i believe nard was ducking roy...since then nard beats up on another blown up middleweight (nothing new there), and jones got ko'd by a cruiser, so lets move on to hopkins/dawson...
