Cotto is all messed up mentally he had all the tools to beat Pac but he didnt. Cotto turn out to be one of these fighter if they lose one time they lose that mental edge and bye bye will to win by the end of rd5 i thought i was wacthing the Margarito fight . i also think his peak was Mosle. If Cotto cant get over his mental beat down he is done as a fighter

I wonder how that thing is possible in pro boxing when most of them have losses in their amateur record. Cotto is 85-20 from what i've heard ( not 100% sure), and fought dudes like Calderon when he was a 13 years old kid.

Right on! What Cotto needs is a proper trainer.

            Not so fast!

If u closely look at cotto as a fighter u would easily see him as a limited fighter who was carefully moved along. He is a hatton type who ballons in between then cuts big weight to fight. He never was anything special to me honestly. Another face 1st puncher who knows only two ways to "fight" With his face and then when the monkey gets on his back he gets on his fatigue bike.

              what would be your answer?

              the mosley fight?the judah fight?

after the margarito fight..Cotto was 27..
people then said, he still has a bright future ahead of him..
              he can still grow..and improve..
              more opportunities will soon arrive..

and then we saw what happened..

              now,

              he's near retirement...
is he bollocks near retirement. he is still a decent fighter. he was just always overrated. he can still win titles at welterweight and id say hes got a few years left yet.

Haters love to hate. I deplore you for comparing Cotto to hatton. That is tantamount to blaspheme.

well, id like to remind you that hatton has achieved more in his career as a boxer than cotto has. remember that.
