Big money makers and easy fights to propel Pacquiao to where he is right now -- in a very good position.

"I think the only reason this fight is made is because Mayweather saw an opportunity, he thought I was vulnerable, he sat there with his friends and watched my loss to Baldamir and said you know what I can beat him now. This is what Mayweather does, he goes in there and fights fighters when they're finished". - Zab Judah

The short answer is: If he didn't, someone else would.
Really? Zab considered himself finished before he fought Floyd?"I think the only reason this fight is made is because Mayweather saw an opportunity, he thought I was vulnerable, he sat there with his friends and watched my loss to Baldamir and said you know what I can beat him now. This is what Mayweather does, he goes in there and fights fighters when they're finished". - Zab Judah

That's a little odd don't you think?Comment

I think the point he was trying get across was judging by his performance against Baldamir, Mayweather thought Judah was finished, therefore looking for an easy victory. I'm sure Judah wanted to prove otherwise.Comment

No. Most fighters do it, they take every advantage they can. I agree with Zab. Hopkins does the same thing -- looks for someone else to expose a weakness, then pounces, beats them up, then claims to have ruined them. Mayweather did exactly this when he saw Hatton look completely **** at 147 (when Collazo had him out on his feet).

hahahahahahahahahhahahahaha I can only think of another fight who does exactly the same
it's not bashing but i think boxing is all about getting big names on your resume even tho they aren't any good hen you fight them. :/
general fans know names, boxing followers know fighters, boxing annalists know styles... we're stuck on the first rung. it's true styles make fights but the best are not fighting the best!Comment

Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo, Jesus Chavez, Angel Manfredy, genero Hernandez, Ricky Hatton, Phillip N'dou, Oscar Delahoya, Manny Pacquiao and many others can all refute that lie. By the way, if you don't like my opinions you're welcome to debate them in the thread instead of hiding behind your red K with no counter point Tortilla Coward.Last edited by Calilloyd; 12-11-2009, 03:45 PM.Comment
