The real reason why mayweather fought judah?

Why would you even give zab a fight if he couldn,t beat baldomir???? Why fight a baldomir to begin with when there other challenges out there... No bashing please...

Because the fight was signed and agreed to before the Baldomir fight. The demand for the fight was still there

Floyd has a history of taking on fighters after a loss,

especially if that fighter has big flaws.

they had already agreed to fight each other. Judah sort of ruined the buildup for that fight with his loss to Baldomir tho

The fight wasn't signed and Mayweather could have skipped it, but it was still the biggest fight he could have at the time. Mayweather-Judah was supposed to be a super fight and it would have been, if Zab would have beat Baldomir.

Mayweather offered to fight Baldomir first, but Carlos took the Gatti fight instead.

If some of you guys actually knew what you were talking about, it'd be much easier to defend Floyd.

they had some kind of principal agreement because terms had to be reworked for it to go through.

Simple. Judah-Mayweather had already been talked about before that Badly fight. It had so much build up that no one believed in Mayweather-Baldomir as much as the Judah clashed.

I think Mayweather already had the idea of fighting Baldy afterwards to pick up the true title in the division, to have a grip of the power in the hottest division, ESPECIALLY at that time.

that was just to make the de la hoya fight more appealing now that i think about it.
