If you've followed Cotto throughout his career, you should that Cotto only throws hooks to the body. And he doesn't use his right hand that much.
    He's mostly left handed.
You'll never see him throw a lead right hand or a jab jab right hand to the body. That's not the way he is.

I've watched Cotto long enough to know that he does use the right when his opponents are stationary. He used the right against Torres, Margarito and Shane. I also predicted that his right wouldn't be effective against Pacquiao because of Pacquiao's head movement and foot work. But where I'm getting at is when the opportunity presented itself, Cotto didn't take it.

It comes down to the trainers. Its a shame Cotto didn't take Emmanuel Stewart up on his offer. That, in my opinion, would have changed the outcome of the fight.Sometimes that makes the difference in a good fighter and great fighter. Can you remember how good Zab Judah was when he had Lou Duva and Georgie Benton in his corner? Once his dad started training him,it was down hill.I think Andre Berto will suffer the same fate. You can tell from his last few fights that his corner isn't a factor. They don't help their fighter make the necessary adjustments.Look how good Mosley and Hopkins are fighting now with ****r Richardson in their corner. If Mosley doesn't suddenly get old with Berto,****r will be a major factor in that fight.Imagine him fighting Berto with his dad as his trainer. He would lose just like he did against Cotto.Cotto can add 10 more good fights under his belt and become a champion again if he decides to UPGRADE his corner.

when did cotto ever throw the lead right hand to the midsection? cotto's best punch is the hook to the liver.

Zab Judah beat Micky Ward, a really really good pressure fighter, great body puncher also. He looked great, was calm and boxed beautifully. Watched that a long time ago, gonna see if I could find it.
