Mayweather was making 3-4M fighting Corley, Ndou, Bruseles and Mitchell. So 3Mill to split is a very bad offer.

How so? Dawson sells 0 tickets and reguarly does bad ratings. HBO probably lost money on B-Hops last fight with them against Pavlik because the PPV numbers were so low. 3 million is very generous in fact it's too much money.
