That's why I used B-Hop as an example, to when he moved up and dominated Tarver. I can see John improving that much. As for Guerrero, I've seen very little on him, I watched a stream but wasn't too interested in that bout so I didn't pay much attention. I'll have to download his fights. Currently I'm downloading 6 Lamont Peterson fights and plan to upload on to Youtube later today.
Don't suppose you could give me a link to his fights? I haven't seen much of Peterson either, I hope Bradley wins but Peterson seems better than his record suggest. I've seen a couple fights and he's fast but I need to see more of him.

I honestly don't know what ISP is, so I had someone else make the account for me. RTS helped me out.

Chris John should stay at 126 as long as he can make the weight comfortably.Other wise if he's struggling then indeed it's time to move up,though he has come off as a tad bit lethargic in his recent fights crossing the finish line(so to speak).I think it depend's on who John's fighting,if his opponent comes on strong and apply's non stop pressure at the end, then John seems to gas.But If John's able to control the pace and box at his tempo,he has no problems and finishes strong imo.I don't think John's on the down slide of his career just yet,but you never know.

If there were no fight's available at 126;130 would be the next step strategically(however that's not the case in this situation, even though Guerrero's the IBF champ at SF).There are plenty of fights and money to be made within the 126 division.

All in all With Chris John's Talent he could out box plenty of the fighters at Featherweight, and I think he will..

I just read about the John/Guerrero fight being a possibility and here BP comes with the bad news in this thread(jk).......still I don't think Chris John has the punch resistance, natural power, or physical frame to move up in weight and be successful. He fought Juarez twice and after schooling him for most of the fight was almost ko'd in the end both times. Robert Guerrero has good power at 130 and has fought at 135 before. Pretty sure The Ghost would ko John if it happened, John has just enough power to hold opponents off and keep them cautious but that is against 126lb fighters not guys at 130 or 135.....he should keep his belt and stay at 126.

The Guerrero vs. John story seems like one of those Golden Boy Stories. They have grown so powerful that they think they can make decisions on behalf of people they have nothing to do with.
