Chris John is gonna be an easy target, watch. Not because he isn't good enough, but because I honestly believe making weight has become an issue for him. He's looking worse and worse. Many may disagree but he looked like crap in the rematch against Juarez.

Sooner or later John will have to face someone good, and i agree he is on the downward part of his career.

After Gamboa beats Mtagwa, and if Lopez isn't an option at that point, I'd like to see him KO John. His time is near

Remember that surge of energy B-Hop got, when he moved up to LHW to face Tarver? Same could happen to John, he needs to get the fuck out of 126.

I think Gamboa is all wrong for Chris John at this point.

I agree with you, as someone who has watched most of his career he used to be a really strong finisher and had stamina to steal the championship rounds and outwork opponents but against Juarez the championship rounds were a real struggle.

If you watch the Marquez fight (it wasn't a robbery although it might be a robbery by boxingscene standards - close fight against foreigner they know little about) he actually finished strongest and won the 12th.

Agree man, I had John winning that so I wouldn't say that was a robbery either. The John that faced Marquez could beat anyone at 126 but right now, I'd pick Santiago, Juanma, Gamboa, Rojas to beat John. John is so damn talented and I'd hate to see him lose because he's weak off of trying to make the weight. It's not now that I've been thinking this either, he has looked weak in the weigh in.

I noticed it against Enoki, he was throwing less and less punches than usual, he should definately move up in weight if Soto stays at 130 I think John could beat him and Martinez (who was getting outboxed by Nicky Cook before the KO) haven't seen much of Guerrero who do you think would win. I saw him fight that other Indonesian who he was having trouble with before the headbutt.

I had it scored for John too, but w/e it not going to stop NSB saying it was a robbery.

I'd pick John to beat Soto also, Soto can't deal with a good boxer. He looked bad even in his win against Benoit Gaudet. If John moves up he's gonna look alot stronger and perform much better. That's why I used B-Hop as an example, to when he moved up and dominated Tarver. I can see John improving that much. As for Guerrero, I've seen very little on him, I watched a stream but wasn't too interested in that bout so I didn't pay much attention. I'll have to download his fights. Currently I'm downloading 6 Lamont Peterson fights and plan to upload on to Youtube later today.
