The thing I hate is that people refer back to JMM for pac and say "Well look he looked bad against JMM and floyd is better so floyd will beat him."

Thats true JMM was a tough fight for pac, but pac also knocked JMM down three times and hit him alot. The biggest question for me when it comes to this fight is how floyd reacts when he gets hit hard (which I believe he will at least a couple times). Cause we know Manny can deal with it.

As far as beating Floyd, I think a tall fighter with a great jab would get the job done. I believe the Vernon Forrest that whupped Moselely would beat any version of Mayweather. You got a point though. Nobody has touched Mayweather's body. Don't know about the inside fighting. Floyd is underated there. I believe he will absolutely **** Pac on the inside if the fight goes there.

I think he's a better than hatton but I take my opinion of him not being that good from his entire career. He's a brawler who gets hurt in almost everyone of his fights. He has marginal boxing skill but I don't think he can win a fight purely from that. I agree with the in bold but some have made him out to be a great fighter and I just don't agree with that.

Paul Williams does not have the defense, footwork, head movement, and accuracy to compare his match with Sergio Martinez to Mayweather-Pacquiao. Not to mention Pacquiao is not a slick southpaw. These four guys have 4 completely different styles.

Williams: Volume puncher with little accuracy
Mayweather: Defensive Potshotter with excellent accuracy
Martinez: Slick Southpaw with moderate accuracy
Pacquiao: Come-forward combination puncher with good accuracy

I know but I'm saying that I'm getting that certain vibe again. Where people are overlooking Pacquiao, same as when Martinez was being overlooked. I'd expect this from Pacquiao fans because most don't seem to know about the sport.

Manny has to beat Floyd with Manny's style. This is his only chance. See Hatton-Pac.

I think Mayweather will certainly try to frustrate Manny- Manny has let his frustration get to him in the past but hopefully he has learnt to be patient. One thing I will say is that Cotto didnt seem to be as strong as he usually is - and Manny could see them coming. I think Floyds power is underrated and his speed means Manny cant prepare for the landing punches.
On the other side, if Hatton could find some success in the 1st rd then think what Manny will do.

Cotto was badly cut up by a Zab Judah coming off 2 loses(Baldomir and Mayweather) and a 1 year 1/2 lay off. This was before the "Margarito ruined Cotto" talks. Cotto was just never a great fighter. Good but not great, definitely not great.

I see what you mean. But to be fair, the Vegas betting books opened up at 8-5 in favor of Pacquiao in this fight. So you have to look into who is the one that is being overlooked here.

Remember early 2008 this fight was just a joke and not even close to being talked about not even hypothetically. Now Pacquiao is favored to beat Mayweather according to the betting odds in Vegas.
