I guess I didn't see the same "whooping" people are talking about. Cotto did really well in rounds 1-5. He lost his balance in the 3rd (that wasn't a true KD), and got hit really hard with 1 punch in the 4th. When he pressured Pac, however, he was winning. Had he kept it up, he would have worn the man down. He instead elected to get on his bike. Bad choice more than a beating.

I think it's a real stand up thing for Manny to do........but if im Cotto I say I got a prior engagement...gracefully decline the invite and send a nice little present.....there is no way I would show up to the house of some dude that just kicked the **** out me in that way.....I just don't know how I would be able to keep my head up and look at people in the eye.....but maybe that's just me.......

RIC, it's not like they are gang ****ing rivals, or street thugs that hate each other. They are pro atletes that compete at a profession that makes them millions of dollars. they entertain millions of people doing what they do. one losing to another is a risk they take, but it's also a buisness arrangment that was agreed upon. EXAMPLE: bernie hobkins and SSM both whipped the hell out of delajoya, and now they work for him!!!! IT'S NOT PERSONAL, IT'S BUSINESS

I don't see much wrong with it guys, it is a sport after all, not a street fight. They both respect each other so it's not like he's insulting Cotto with it. It's cool.. I have a lot of pride too but I'd be willing to put it aside in order to hook up with some of those hot pinoys

being a celebrity (all PAC opponents are isntant celebrities in the P.I.) I must also add that going to the Philippines Cotto would have some business opportunities....i.e commercials, his clothing lines etc ...
