I am a Floyd fan (not as much as I use to be), but for me, this ruined the way I looked at him as a fighter. Floyd talked so much ****, I thought it was going to be a WAR! In the end, this fight became THE BIGGEST SPARRING MATCH OF 2007!

            Worse than the Baldomir fight?

Good thread. It's amazing people would believe Oscar deliberately stopped throwing the main thing that was really working for him. But then again this is NSB, posting here really opens your mind as to how dumb some people can be. And that's just on boxing matters, so you wonder if they are that dumb about boxing then how do these imbeciles hold down jobs, pay bills, socialise, etc.

Oh wait, they don't. Insert mothers basement joke here.

It is sad to think that this version of Oscar almost beat Floyd.

                  You are a liar !!!

As a Floyd fan I could tell you that nobody who likes Floyd expects a war. We expect a technically sound, by the book, domination.
Airplanes don't fly under bridges and cars don't rip through clouds.
Floyd's punching power and chin never won him any belt or acclaim. The crazy thing about Floyd is that he uses pure skill to out box heavier punchers
                  for long periods of time.

Take the punch away from the majority of the top 20 fighters in the world and your current favorites may make top 50 last year if your lucky.

If Floyd went toe to toe with Oscar he'd get ktfo...everybody knows that.

Prime Oscar would have been a different story for Floyd.
