look as a mexican, and a boxingfan u gotta love julio sr. the only reason julio jr,is where he is without question because of dad.hes getting a pass ,he isnt half or even a third of the fighter julio sr was,i dont care what weight the kid fights he sux too slow gets hit too much and doesnt have his dads punching power. he should stay in the c class hell get his ass kicked if he steps up.julio sr has more kos than pacman has fights, more championship fights than any fighter in history.sorry folks living legends, get benefits, like their sons getting a free pass.omar chavez on the other hand julios ther son he has the potential to be world class.

              a bum

Chavez jr is a bum. 40 wins, no losses, 6 years as a pro and still no belt and was not even mentioned ever to fight in the championship. He is like hector camacho jr. A juniors of bum. What is he doing? just collecting wins from a bum opponent? When I saw him fight trowland in the pacquiao-cotto undercard, it answered my queries as I saw him fought like a bum. Maybe he just want to follow his fathers footstep in terms of the number of fights but not the quality of fights. He should remember that by now, it is not the number but the quality that counts.

Exactly, why chavez jr become number one in the superwelter division? Who he fought and defeated to attain such recognition. To my honest knowledge, all he fought and defeated are class D fighters.

after seing him fight against rowland, i am aboslutely certain that he's overrrated because of his name. i would like to see the younger omar chavez fight, somebody mentioned that he's much better than his overhyped brother.
