Molsey isn't a slick or tough southpaw fighter. It was the style that gave Berto problems. His fights with orthodox fighters have been exciting imo.

I'm a Mosley fan but I believe that Mosley looked so good against Margarito because he beat him to the punch. Margarito's handspeed is inferiorx10 compared to Mosley's. Berto has handspeed, Berto has real quick hands. This will be a tough fight, notice I picked all of preditions for every single upcoming fight, haven't even picked a winner for this fight and I don't know why so many people write off Berto. I'm not sold on Berto either but i'm not sold on Mosley at 38 handling a fighter with Berto's handspeed, Berto also holds when he has to which is important for any fighter.

        Lefty,

I think you made some great points. The most important thing (to me) in any fight is intelligence.

Who do you feel is the smarter fighter?

Indeed i saw that fight along with Cintron-Angulo which I picked Cintron and Berto to win that night. Berto shut out Urango 12-0, he did what he had to do to win. I have nothing bad to say about that fight. Berto impressed me that night because he adjusted to Urango's headbutting style of throwing punches, don't forget how many headbutts Urango hit Berto with before Berto turned it in to an ugly fight. He did what he had to do, to a headbutter, turn the fight ugly if he wants to fight ugly.

            ****m Richardson:
Oh, I don't mess with that stuff man. Now in the last couple fights they asked me to pick. I called them and I picked the right guy. But my thing is this man: Everybody at this level can fight, everybody is special up at that level. So your queen can't do more than my queen, your rook doesn't move in a way my rook doesn't move. It's going to be the strategy employed that makes the difference

Now, I'm gonna tell you, though. From Floyd's perspective: the minute you start talking about how small Pacquiao is, you're beat. I told Shane, "if you fight him, if anybody in the camp calls you bigger than Pacquiao, I'll put them out of the camp."

Because that's just media ****. Every time they mention Pacquiao they mention he started at 106 lbs. Well, hot damn, all of us at one time were under 25lbs! I got up to be over 300 lbs, but one time I was under 25 lbs. Why do they talk like that, "You know he started his career at 106."

But they keep bringing it up and I told them the same thing; the greatest trick the devil ever did was convince the world he didn't exist. The greatest trick that Pacquiao ever did was convince you all that he was a small man! And he's going to keep beating the **** out of people who keep thinking he's a small man. At 147 lbs., Pacquiao is a small man like Mike Tyson was a small heavyweight!

Was Mike Tyson a small heavyweight? Well, he was a pretty short heavyweight, but short and small are two different things. As long as they keep believing that they'll get beat. Cotto did that though the first couple of rounds. He hit Pacquiao the first couple of rounds and Pacquiao stood there, and Cotto is like, what? He gonna stay there a little longer.

Let me ask you a question. Muhammad Ali was the taller man against Frazier, correct?

Ali shot the jab, and circled. Didn't that happen?

When do we change in boxing and say, "the guy is shorter than me I'm gonna walk him down." That was boxing 101, that was common sense in boxing. I thought everybody knew-I thought people who couldn't box knew that. Cotto is in there, and Oscar walking him down. Is Muhammed Ali gonna walk Joe Frazier down? "Joe Frazier's the small heavyweight." So don't tell me Pacquiao is smaller. Either guy can win.

I pose another question here in this thread about the big fight.

If the venue is set for Vegas who does it favor?

If the venue is set for Dallas who does it favor?

Do either venues favor either fighter?

The 8 ounce gloves do they really favor Manny and why?

If yoyu think they favor Floyd explain?

Do you think Manny is gong to get in on the fight hype or do you think this fight needs no hype at all?

Do you think FLoyd tries to play mind games like ALi?

Ali was a master of getting inside his opponents head do you think Floyd is trying the sae tatics?.....Lefty

what's everyone's opinion on Pac's ability to cut off the ring? he's going to need to do that succesfully all night against money. in the cotto fight roach and buboy kept telling him to do so but i didn't really see pac comming through with it. it might have been because he already knew he had the fight one so why bother but i think he needs to work on that particular skill big time for this fight.
