buster is just a weak guy with no heart and will beside that one against tyson, he knew he is and his style isnt right to could dominate in hv and he isnt enough so he just gave up. just like bowe what a waste of talent. eat eat..

i always found it strange that tyson couldn't knock him out, but in his next fight he got KO'd with one clean punch by evander holyfield, when holyfield was never considered a big puncher. one of life's great mysterys

I don't think Buster even was that good a fighter and was always a pretty lazy guy, but before the Tyson fight his mother died. Mabey with that kind of emotion inside of you can get dediced for a short time and do things you normaly wouldn't be able to do.

No mystery. Tyson was out of shape and didn`t care about the fight. This lack of motivation coupled with poor training zapped him. He might have had the power but didn`t have the fittness to utilize the power. His timing was off so he couldn`t land in combination and was very flat footed throughout which prevented him from pivoting off the side with hooks and uppercuts. Only when he was against the ropes was he able to floor Douglas and to be honest, Douglas walked into the punch.
Tyson looked in terrible fighting shape and he paid for it!

Physically tyson looked peaked , look up photos if you do not believe me.

Tyson was knocked down in a recent sparring session before this fight , but that doesn't mean a whole lot.

Anyway I detest excuses DOUGLAS was the BETTER MAN that night, and he KOed an absolute peak 23 years old Mike tyson IMO

People always take away a loss from tyson, but Buster did what nobody else could and he did it first.
