Ruiz destroyed Valuev in their second fight in comparison to Haye's sad, weak effort. And Ruiz didn't run away from the giant, either. My bet is that Haye gets exposed long before he fights a Klitschko. Valuev got robbed in the Haye decision, and if he insists on a smaller ring so Haye can't do so much running next time, he'll win. That's if Ruiz doesn't beat Haye first.Comment

ChopperRead - Did Ruiz beat Valuev? so why bring that **** up. Haye beat Valuev, something a lot of fighters couldn't do. Game plan = spot on.
You can watch all of these american bums fighting Valuev and KO brothers, notice the pattern? all stand in front of them and eat jabs all night and they have all LOST. If a game plan which is called 'running' beats them then why should he not use it?Comment

Let's see ... Haye could have signed to fight Vitali, and then fight Wlad if he won, which he insisted he would do easily. Then he could have ruled the boxing world, gotten huge paydays, called every shot, etc. Instead, he fought Valuev, who if you look at it technically, really wasn't a belt holder -- he never avenged his loss to Chagaev, who instead went on to lose to Wlad. Therefore it looks to me as if the Klitschkos can really make a theoretical claim to having ALL the belts, while Haye is stuck with a toy belt out of a box of Cracker Jacks, and with mandated matches with Johnny Ruiz and Valuev, and probably even Ray Austin. Yippee!Comment

Ruiz certainly did beat Valuev the second time they fought. Even the partisan German crowd booed the decision. He certainly put Valuev under far more pressure than Haye did.
We'll see if Ruiz is an "American bum" after he fights Haye. He's not popular, and for a good reason, but he has made the effort to change his style and he is not an easy man to beat these days. He will certainly pose different problems for Haye than Valuev did -- like landing some solid shots on Haye's jaw.Comment

1) He was all set to fight Wlad, but you do know the company paying him millions refused to pay first because they were in money trouble? and they actually went bankrupt so he would of not got his money at all.
Who the **** would fight for free?
2) Vitali made outrageous demands. If Vitali wanted to fight Haye he wouldn't of made such ****** terms?
3) Haye is a heavyweight champion. He needed to beat Valuev if he wanted to unify the division. Also it gives him much more power when they next sit down to discuss terms.
4) Anyone who thinks Haye doesn't want to fight KO brothers are ******.Comment

What makes you think that?Ruiz destroyed Valuev in their second fight in comparison to Haye's sad, weak effort. And Ruiz didn't run away from the giant, either. At the end of the fight, Haye had completley figured out Valuev, and had him rocking and rolling all over the ring, winging power shots.
A rematch would be like round 13, and Valuev would get ktfo.
Ruiz sucks ass, he was ko'd in 2 seconds by Tua and lost to Roy Jones, who lost his next fight to Tarver!!!!!!!Comment

Haye HAD to fight Valuev to get a belt and negotiate on better terms with the Klitschkos - who, up to that time, were only offering a ***** contract.
As for his comments about Vitali's legacy, he's right. The only really elite fighter in there was Lewis, who beat him. (and Danny Williams, who beat him into retirement!)

Tsk tsk, not another Haye groupie. Open your eyes and don't embarrass yourself. Haye lost to Valuev, and any argument for the contrary is ridiculous and biased. He simply didn't do enough to take the title in a championship contest. He was severly gun-shy and negative. Open your eyes.1. haye clearly beat valuev, with just one hand.
2. haye is no lewis, but neigher is the klits. prime lewis would have absolutely zero problems with all three of them, just like the rest of the truly great HWs.
3. haye backed out of a fight with the klits ONCE not twice, negotiations fall apart all the time. doesnt mean he ducked vitali. he just took a better deal.
As regards, Lewis. In case you have forgotten, he did fight Vitali, which was controversial at best. Klitchko was ahead on all three judges scorecards before the fight was stopped. Lewis wanted absolutely nothing to do with Vitali after this rumble. You speak of Lenox's ablity in his prime, but this is strictly hypothetical.
Haye ducked the Klitchko's. Come on, lets call a spade a spade here. His mouth won't carry him forever. He'll have to dance with the big boys soon enough.Comment
