Well, although I don't want to admit it, this isn't about support for him. It is about support in general because the more people he brings and the more Pac brings the more money they get and the simple fact is that that is the only thing he gives a **** about sadly.

People can pretend it's about him wanting fans but he has enough of them and he knows it. He just wants more money and that is the way to get it. Make it international. Make it USA vs Asia. Make it Black vs Asian. Third world vs America etc etc.

Good points. Some on here also got upset when he did dancing with the stars and the WWE stuff. I am all for ANY boxer trying to branch out and try to increase the base for our sport. It was awsome to see Manny out and about to promote the Cotto fight. (Though I could do without the singing.) I wish more boxers would follow that lead. You may not like the way Floyd trys to do it but he is still trying to get boxing airtime in places you normally wouldnt see it.

Out of all the years watching all sports from basketball, football, boxing, tennis, baseball, etc. i have never heard or seen a star of a sport asking for support because of their race or nationality.

the singing wasn't for the hardcore boxing fans but to casual fans like my wife who absolutely loves it. after the pac beat dela hoya, she became a fan and followed boxing. which means, she's now more than happy for me to splash out on PPVs even if that means my kids will go hungry
