What hiph hop acts did you listen to???

People kill me with this "hip hop is dead ****".......

If you like a certain artist go buy the record..how hard is that..you dont have to listen to anything you dont want to........

What hip hop acts? Hundreds, I also dig early Electro (such as Cybotron). As for hip hop, I liked everything from late 70's **** like Cold Crush Brothers, Double Trouble, Ultramagnetic MC's, B+, Levi 167, Z-3 MC's, Craig G, tons of them. I don't actually know where to start listing all the good ****.

As for newer hip hop, not so much has grabbed my attention over the last few years. I still like Del (Hieroglyphics) a lot though. I dig Dr. Octagon (Kool Keith) too, but my preference is the original **** from back in the day. I still love it.

As a scratch DJ, I am part of a large hip hop collective of UK and USA artists (since the mid 90's), although my activity has been low for the last few years because I don't live in the same area anymore. I'm still part of it and some of my closest friends make some of the best hip hop that's around today. These are guys who go back to the 80's, original B-Boys, not fake pretenders. Maybe I'll post some audio sometime.

So, to say I'm generalizing and attacking hip hop is bull****. Truth is, I love hip hop in it's original form, I just speak up against the crap we have nowadays that many of the younger generation like to call hip hop but is anything but. It's an embarrassment to real hip hop heads.

This is what has transpired in just a couple of days.

There were a few threads on here talking about how silent Floyd was being because he was "scared of Manny". They asked when would he speak up and why is he so quiet.

THEN when he breaks the silence and speaks out about his fight with Manny LIKE THEY WANTED, then he is "so ****** and a disgrace" for what he said.

You guys asked why he wasn't speaking, then he does you hate every word of it.

Thus, I am led to this conclusion, I really don't believe that a lot of the posters on here ARE GROWN MEN THAT ACTUALLY LIKE BOXING.
