If jrosales would've been more specific, then I wouldn't have posted what I posted.

Floyd still generated more than Manny with common opponents. But that's not what this thread is about.

Not bad for a NON-American who doesn't have to run his mouth or appear on WWE and Dancingwith the Stars to sell PPVs. huh?
Depends on who you wanna believe, Ive seen sites report it did 925,000.

He sold more PPVs vs Cotto than Floyd did vs JMM with a higher charge to purchase the fight. Being an exciting and humbe fighter seems to be working well for Pacquiao. The fight will sell bottomline.

****, I'm not trying to dispute that Mayweather is a much bigger PPV star than Manny is (that may soon change).

I'm simply pointing out that De la Hoya clearly helped both Mayweather and Pac in their PPV buys, as can be seen in the fact that Floyd has rarely passed 1 mil without him.

No doubt it will sell. The thread is referring to Floyd's promo antics in selling fights which simply means he'll likely outshine Manny in that dept.

He was beggin' the American public to support him, lmao!!

Of course he needs to promote the fight. It's his responsibility. PAC on the other hand, already has that **** covered!!

My bad I thought when I threw out the 1.2 number I was talking about domestic. That you would automatically known that I was about domestic numbers. Since the 1.2 was a domestic number. And, in that post I said that they did that great number without really promoting the fight.

And, I did ask when has Floyd done 1.2 without Oscar. Floyd is great at promoting and he gets great numbers. But, my point was that sometimes you don't need to promote the hell out of fight. You just need 2 great stylistic match-up and the fight would sell it self.
