Man I wish the winner of this (hopefully Toney) were to fight Golota in a unification bout. Both the winners of Golota/Brewster and Toney/Ruiz have to take on Mandatories, thats too bad.

The Toney/Ruiz fight is a mandatory so i think the winner can have a voluntary fight. The winner of Golota/Brewster will have to face the winner of the Whittiker/??? fight ( some euro dude due soon ).
But if made, i think the winner of the Brewster/Golota fight might vacate and go after the WBA title!

As it is, I don't recognize most of the names on that list other than Golota, Klitschko, Toney and Rahman. And probably with the exception of Klitschko, the other three mentioned are either washed up or second-rate fighters.

Simply put, the heavy division sucks.

Yeah, yeah - don't tell me that it's a hokey alphabet title that isn't worth jack. (The Rippuh). I know that, I'm not suggesting otherwise... all I doing is suggesting that a heavyweight with a 16-0 (15 KO) record and a "belt" of some description is going to get himself in the rankings, even though we all know it's undeserved.

(For the record, he's currently 11 on BoxRec and Williams is 16.

Anything beyond WBO and NABF is fringe territory IMO; and those are barely passable, if that, to most probably. From there the waters get murkier than they already are and I could see how it would be easy to make a belt up and not have it's integrity questioned; just too many of them out there.
