This fight hasn't even been finalized yet, and I have heard very little about it, so this seems like a lot of wishful thinking.

You wanna see two guy's hug each other for 45 minutes?

John Ruiz vs. Matt Skelton, WBA Heavyweight Title

LOL!... I reckon Skelton would have a very good chance of winning that fight! Coz' he'd be so strong!

              Probably because of 40-0-0 record

Wow... agreed, neither has done anything to deserve a shot. Danny didn't deserve his first shot. Though I always wished he'd gone in with a contender, rather than the top man, cos I thought he'd never get another chance after that Klitschko one-sided pounding.

So this could go one of four ways:

Toney vs. Skelton - no contest
Ruiz vs. Skelton - a double hug fest, Skelton either wears Ruiz down, or, more likely, Ruiz wins.

Toney vs. Williams - Williams has more ability than he's shown in either of his last two fights, but Toney would be too slick for him.

Ruiz vs. Williams - the match-up I'd most like to see as it would give Danny a chance to prove that while he'll never be a premier fighter, he belongs in the second tier more than your Brewsters, Donalds and (32 second KO victim) Meehans. There's a chance Danny will do one of his "mentally withdraw" bits when he feels Ruiz's power, but imagine if he KOed Ruiz. How much would you like him then?

                    hmm

I think we could do a lot better wishful thinking than hoping for a Skelton-Williams vs Toney-Ruiz winner. If there is a boxing God, then the winner of Toney-Ruiz will fight Klitschko.

Danny-Skelton who? What kind of crap is this? Give it to guys who deserve it or have a chance...

Name one fighter at heavyweight who deserves a shot? Williams and Skelton are about as proven as anyone else.

I also think it would make for a good fight if Toney gets in with a quick puncher(which both Williams and Skelton are)
