Everyone knows what you get with Floyd by now. And I think the only way this fight could be "bad for boxing" is if some injustice takes place such as a robbery or something.

I wish people would understand that boxing has more than one style. its a sport. if they want to run to UFC or MMA, then thats fine, the parameters of that sport might be more suited to what they enjoy, but i enjoy boxing, that isnt going to change even if im the only fan in my entire city.

Someone on NSB even said Floyd was booed in the JMM fight even though HBO panned the arena several times to show people standing and cheering the boxing clinic that was going on. People underestimate the "casual" fan.
most people know floyds name and know very little about his braggadocios behavoir. most of the time its "hes pretty good" or "hes fast" and not much more. people in real life dont overanalyze, some people dont like his style, some people dont care either way.

in urban communities like here in oakland, mayweather is very well known and very much liked. it just depends where you are in some cases.

I like boxing to go mainstream like it was before. I'm sure slick boxing style will not help this cause.

I mean, explain to me how the so called, "Most Boring Boxer", is also the biggest draw? That's very unexplainable. I think everyone needs to accept the fact that people appreciate Mayweather's style.

Boxing needs variety of styles, accept that.

Mayweather is not "bad" for boxing and anybody who thinks that is uniformed, misinformed, and ignorant. This thread shows a lack of intellect and appreciation for the sport. Anybody who rides with this clown TS better think about that first.

                  SMH....

mayweather has been fighting in a low-risk manner since he's had problems with his hands....this same fighting style, has gotten him to the point where he is the top draw in boxing....he wins this fight, i don't expect that to change.

No, you're not a boxing fan.

What Mo**ey Mayweather does inside that ring is ripoff fans. I guess it's great football to if the score 12-0(all via field goals).
