If only Kellerman's rap career would have been a success in the 90s, we wouldn't have to hear about him now... every single fight, litterally, he needs to reference up to 4 or 5 'classic fights' and namedrop a thousand past boxers to compare to whoever is fighting in front of him. I think I can even sense a bemused esasperation from Jim Lampley. I mean, to a degree, doing that makes sense- the frequently reference Henry Armstrong when discussing Manny- but it's Kellerman's whole style. All he does is compare, compare, compare, then cite references to fights from the 1980s. We get it, Max- you spent alot of time watching and memorizing every fight ever.Comment

How would you gauge a fighter's boxing skills and accomplishments by pulling info out of your ass?Comment

Do you notice how many times Lampley interrupted Max during the Williams/Martinez fight? Everytime Max tried start one of his long drawn out historical references, Jim would cut in with his play by play. I agree with you guys, Kellerman is annoying. They need Larry Merchant or someone very similar to him.Comment
