Actually cuz he is 38 I think the year of benefits him. Kinda like it did for Hopkins. It preserved hos old legs. Long layoff helps keeps them fresh. Plus now Richardson is in Shane corner. You can't take that for granted. He will come up with the perfect game plan for Berto. And, Berto chin is not all that. Shane can crack. Mosley will ruin him.

Berto has the tools to outbox Mosely. Mosey's best chance is to carry the fight to the later rounds then pressure Berto so he gasses out.

All of Floyd's stans are praying for that nail in Mosley's coffin so Floyd can keep avoiding him. And a part of me still thinks that Shane is a tougher fight for Floyd than Pacquiao is. People are getting caught up in the hype of his win over Cotto when Cotto becomes a punching bag when he gets fatigued. This is why I wanted to see a Pacquiao-Mosley fight instead because I think Manny leap frogged his way to a shot at Mayweather when it's Mosley who has the more impressive win over Margarito.

I've never been impressed with Berto but I do think he has a very good shot at beating Mosley. The reason Shane looked so good against Margarito was because he was able to get off with extreme ease against the slower fighter. If you look at the tape, you can even see Shane winding his punches down from his waist and still landing cleanly agaisnt Marg. Actually thats one of the reason I think Mosley was finally able to crack Marg's chin...he had all the time in the world to wind up his punches to generate as much power as possible, and he took advantage of it.

Berto is a very big WW who usaullly weighs 165 pounds or more....

He has VERY fast hands..especially his right and a NASTY uppercut...and a fast jab...

Shane has no answers for right hands....and jabs....

Berto also moves around the ring...and HOLDS alot....

The last time we seen Shane....was LITERALLY a year ago....vs. the slow..Plasterless Margarito....who he beat up badly...

A year later hes in there aginst a young , fast fighter...who wont stand in front of his face like Marg did....

Big mistake... styles make fights, Berto fought a slick southpaw who really gave Hatton his 1st loss(might not be on record) and Shane fought a guy standing right infront of him, tailor made for Mosley's style.
