Pacquiao's 36.6 mil will end up being more than Floyd's 50 mil after taxes.

Of course he gets taxed, They tax everyone that works in any country. Pacman is not immune from getting taxed in the USA.

Not true. There are a handful of countries that don't tax.

Am talking about civilised countries like the UK and the US, They would tax anyone who works there whether they are foreigners or not. Their tax % varies though but not one is immune to been taxed.

Manny earned that money while in the United States, of course that would be taxed.

                Wrong.

People in the Philippines barely get taxed...its like at 10% or less. And even then, its sooooooooooo easy to evade taxes, you don't have to worry about getting sued by the govt.

Heck just about everybody does it in the Philippines. Come to think of it...

That means Manny's 36M only goes down to like 32M after taxes while Floyds 50M goes to around 30M after taxes.

Then there is the fact that everything in the Philippines is so damn cheap. Heck my parents have a house in the Philippines that cost only 300K in the Philippines but would have gone for like 2M in the US.

Hows that for winning the money race?

With all due respect, countries like the UAE, Brunei and Monaco to name a few are civilized countries. Just because countries like the US and the UK get much of the limelight does not make them the only civilized countries out there.

I didn't say he wouldn't be taxed. I was responding to Ray's assertion that all countries tax.
