There are Pac fans that arent real boxing fans just like there are Gayweather fans that dont follow boxing. I remember right before Pacmans first fight with Barrera I asked a couple of pinoys I worked with if they were going to watch the fight. They had no idea what I was talking about. Now they think they know everything about the sport. LOLComment

Lol. This aint even fun anymore. Your too ****** to argue with. Go back and see why I red K'd you dip****. You and the other *******s saying how Pac would destroy Pwill. Doesn't mean I'm a Pwill, I just got common sense sumthing your seriously lacking.The fookin old man doesn’t even remember what he did. Old man, you red K'd me because of my comment about Pwills or you're just a fookin ****** red k'ing anybody without any reason.
I assumed that you're a Pwills fanatic because it shows on my CP where you red K'd me.
Anyways, see a doctor and let them check if you have Alzheimer.Comment

True story. Duran was like 70-1 or somethin when they fought. Hearns was undefeated and was knocking everyone out. Benitez was also undefeated. And Hagler (although late in his career) just to name a few.it would also explain why Tommy never got a 3rd fight...draw my ass...Tommy won the rematch IMO
but back to Marvin...i truly believed that he would have won a rematch
i'm not a Leonard fan by any means but i do have to admit, he at least fought the toughest guys out thereComment

Really good times... Boxing is not like it used to be. Is still great though....Comment

Also he fought Hagler after a 3yr layoff and moved up in weight. And, he fought the #1 MW in his first fight at MW in a weightclass he has never been in before. That is quite the opposite that what Floyd did in his first fight back.Comment

i had a conversation with deanrw (awesome poster) about this a couple of months ago...boxing was everywhere back then...it was on channel 2 with Gil Clancy...it was on channel 7 with Wide World of Sports...
then you had THREE HOURS of USA's Tuesday Night Fights with Sean O'Grady (who had the most ******ed pre-fight tips...**** like 'dont get hit...hit him hard...use your jab'
)
Tuesday Night Fights, along with the cable black box really fueled my addiction...i remember watching a young Bernard Hopkins call out Roy Jones on the same show...i remember watching Julian Jackson on there...remember Alex Garcia? mexican HW from out here in socal
man...it was different back then...now, if i wanna watch THAT much boxing, my cable bill would be the size of my car paymentComment
