I think khan will vacate rather than face maidana. Even if khan wants to fight him I think Uncle Frank will decide it best to avoid him for now.

I believe khan needs a little more experience before he's ready to get in the ring with murderous punchers like maidana. Khans chin is pure glass but I believe it can be protected. He just needs more time IMO!
