Forget style. Any legit WW and up KOs Floyd easy. That's why Floyd avoids them like his dad avoids using proper grammar.

WHen has Floyd ever fought an elite volume power puncher in his prime?

Corrales doesn't fit the bill. And don't say De La Hoya either! He wasn't prime, he was game, but not prime. His volume came in spurts at the end of each round, but it wasn't sustained.

Corrales tried to fight from height, and use that leverage to knock people out. He did not have Pac's groundeating footwork or overwhelming combinations.

I'm willing to discuss with people, but if they don't even have valid points, it just gets silly.
WHEN HAS MANNY PAC faced ANYONE in their prime?

            You can't say that.

We are talking at 147. Floyd at 147, all he has done is run and potshot. I know Floyd was very adaptable in the lower weights.
run and pot shot?..so he should stand and trade and get into a war just for the hell of it?

hahahah..is it Mayweathers fault that all he needs to do is land 1 punch at a time and beat people easily?

damn maybe he is that good!....i didnt know u can win fights by running...

I think Pac's style would be a real tough test, and the same vice versa. Mayweather's just so damn good with his defenssive style and counterpunching. But Pacquiao's not only an amazing attacker but his counterpunching has proved to be pretty good as of late so iunno. We'll see.

Is it just me or wouldn't Sugar Ray Leonard have schooled Floyd Jr. in his prime easily. Freaking 5 full pages and nobody throws Leonard's style in the mix. At least 9-3 in rounds but that is as low as I'll go in Sugar Ray Leonard beats him by. Have you all not seen Sugar Ray Leonard's whoop on Floyd Joy Mayweather Sr.'s and his son's style. Of course Jr. has way better physical attributes than Sr. but Leonard just toyed with Sr.

And anything Jr. would have tried, Leonard would have adapted from it and rolled with it. I don't know if you can even call it a style but adaptability is something Leonard has. I really hope Roach and Pac can work on several plans to go about the fight with Mayweather.

Oscar De La Hoya had the best chance to stop a slower Mayweather at the higher weight of 154.

That's not including all the advantages Oscar had before the fight.

let's get this straight, I'm not flaming him for his style you insecure *****. I don't hate on Mayweather. I like boxing.

I said he will have to string combos together to hold Pacquiao off. Something he hasn't done since 140 at least (which he only did when he had his opponent hurt).

Let's get this straight about Mayweathers style: He is defensive first, this is why he pot shots. He will not exchange. By throwing one punch at a time he leaves little time for his opponent to find an opening. By back pedalling (running) he makes it even more difficult. Why do I think Pacquiao has a chance? because he's a southpaw. and a great one at that. Mayweathers defense while still good, has cracks in it against southpaws.

Can you tell me who at WW Floyd has held off with one punch? He has ran and out pointed slower and more limited fighters than himself, but hold off? Even featherweight Marquez was backing him up at times.

Now, before you get too excited, I haven't picked a winner in this match up - so please stop accusing me based on pre conceived notions.
