If right hooks are on the menu for P. Williams as it was for him last night then I seriously doubt P. Williams would hold up.

    Peace.

Pavlik would be the hardest hitter Williams has ever faced. So I don't know the thing is that Pavlik would have to land. And, I think Pavlik could land cuz Williams can be hit. If this was the Pavlik from 2yrs I would like Pavlik chances. I just don't think he has the hunger anymore and is too robotic and a sitting duck for Williams. I think Williams overwhelms him and wins a pretty lopsided decision.

or even KO...i think it might look like the B Hop fight but worst...

P wills hand speed might be too much for Pavlik

The right hook worked best for Martinez, and a righty like Pavlik doesn't have that punch. I think Williams' defense for Pavlik's 1-2 (his bread and butter) will be much better than for Martinez's right hook and straight left.

One wild card is that Pavlik has a better reach than Williams is used to facing. That could help Kelly land, but I doubt it. I don't see Kelly being effective vs Williams.

If Williams catches Pavlik all night it wont matter!!! Pavlik took punches from Miranda all night and it didnt phase him. Williams dont have a chance in hell against Pavlik

I've said it once and I'll say it again.. I think Pavlik stops Williams. Williams gets hit too much, and you can't take too many Pavlik right hands flush.

If Pavlik was able to land like Martinez did, He would of got Paul out of there imo.

The thing is, Pavlik and Martinez fight nothing alike.

Martinez is a slick counter puncher with good footwork, fast hands and decent power.

Pavlik is a 1-2 pressure fighter with poor footwork and slow handspeed, his power is dangerous though.

Williams fights against Margarito and Wright proved to me that Williams is good at fighting pressuring fighters.

Against Margarito and Wright, Paul used his footwork to keep them off balance then swarmed them with punches. He followed that pattern the whole night because Williams can keep that pace up all night. Another factor is Williams reach, those pressure fighters simply couldn't get close enough to land punches. Margarito was able to get abit closer later on but he didn't land much that was significant.

                Williams beats Pavlik imo.

Pavlik will KHTFP. Pavlik dont need to throw or land that much.

A single 1-2 and a follow up roght hand would put Williams to Sleep!!!!

Watch how they duck pavlik from now on and they say, they are paying ack for Pavliks actions with his staph infection!!!

Williams has never had a good DEF. he gets hit vs no matter who's in front of him. so he will get hit vs Pavlik. But before that, I rather see the rematch between these two(martinez-Will)

Pavlik is too big and strong. Unlike the shorter fighters he is not going to get tired hitting a punchng bag like Williams. He probably stops him in the early or in the midle rounds.
