The majority of people in this thread keep pointing out how Pavlik and Martinez fight nothing alike, very true. But then you go on to claim that this is proof that Pavlik won't land.

Please explain how Williams style will somehow allow him to become a mover & shaker that fights from the outside, works behind the jab and can keep Pavlik at bay with some elusive style?

Williams style is to stand in front of you and throw as many punches as possible. Pavlik employs a similar style while relying on less varity in his punches. But no doubt Williams will be right there to be hit.

Pavlik's workrate isn't far off Paul's. Kelly routinely throws 90 punches a round. Pavlik's defense is way better than PW along with his chin and punching power.

This is simplifying things to the utmost but essentially Williams will be trying to out Pavlik, Pavlik.

PW won't hurt Kelly & Kelly will hurt Williams. That plus PW is not some elusive Mayweather who can make you miss at will, Hitting PW is no difficult task.
