The left hook right hand combo worked an absolute treat, and salita had no answer for it, even when he got up he was trying to land with his own left hook, but just like roach said he ****s it and is open to a left.

Roach is a genius at finding small flaws and bad habits in an opposing boxers technique, and what I love about it is it's always pretty simple, but he'l exploit it to its maximum, pacquiao's uppercut against cotto another example.

He is gonna have real problems finding flaws in floyd jnr, but im interested to see what he comes up with.
That was Margarito who exploited that.

Gotta feel for Salita though. Imagine dedicating your life to something for 12 weeks, day and night. And everything is blown apart in an instant.
I felt real bad for him immediately after the fight, boxing is an unforgiving sport. Salita should try and get a fight with kotelnik or malignaggi. Then he'l know for sure whether he can compete technically at least in world class.

Thats fine but margarito is a big uppercut guy anyway, one of the best in the world at it, so he was doing what came natural. Manny isn't someone who throws uppercuts too much in fights, but he threw it a lot against cotto obviously was apart of the strategy, and it changed the fight. But I agree with you that roach would have picked up on it in the margarito and clottey fights.

kotelnik yes, but malignaggi , no, malignaggi is too fast and will outbox Salita, even more embarrassing..

As a sidenote ,Diaz vs malignaggi next Saturday

Yeah maybe paulie would, but at least he would know rather than getting blown out, prob be a decent pay day also in nyc. Diaz-malignaggi should be a good fight again, khan should definitely have a look at the winner, maybe fight them on pac-mayweather undercard. Frank Warren would never do that but it would be a good move for khan, competitive fights and great exposure.
