I forgot to mention that you need to eat and sleep right.Eat alot of vegatbles, fruits, proteins, carbohydrates... etc u get my point. Boxing is a hard sport, and you have to dedicate yourself, and make a commitment to it, so that you can excel in it. Btw if you read my previous post nvm. dnt do it 7 times a week, but rather only 6times a week

take it one small step at a time, don't set high expectation goals like becoming world champion, aim for smokers or exhibition matches, then aim for the golden gloves etc. gota learn to walk before you learn to run

Be extremely self critical. Always look to improve. Try and perfect every move. Good is not good enough.

Don't be one dimensional, the best fighters have many weapons in their armoury.

Listen to people but don't take their word as gospel. Never discount any criticism, never take it personally, but never accept any advice blindly. Learn over time who to trust and listen to.

If you want to be the best, you have to train the hardest. If you go pro, be professional. If you take shortcuts, you'll pay for them. Even the best fighters in the world get caught out when they don't take it seriously and dedicate themselves fully.

My biggest piece of advice would be to listen to your body. I tried training like two years ago but ended up injuring a knuckle. Every couple days I'd go back to heavy bag thinking because the swelling went down it'd be fine, wrong. Another thing is think about the risks and rewards, and I don't mean injuries and death and whatnot. If your training like an animal will you have time to go to college? I just went back to school because unless your really gifted and stuff your probably going to be working for someone and not making a lot of money. So the real question is are you willing to risk being 36, broken from injuries, living in a ******, working at some minium wage job, having trouble remembering things, wondering what could have been just to get that one in a million chance to be a great? I know not all boxers end up like that but it is a sad common story.

first thing find a good gym with veteran trainers change your diet completely no more burgers lol there are great diet plans you can find online, get yourself a speed bag and punching bag .so on the days you dont want to go to the gym you can still put in some work, check out the golden gloves you can get a lot of experience there, and just plain work hard for it make a goal and go for it ,i hope you the best of luck . email me with any more questions you have i fought for 13 years.
