Salita just aint that good. Khan would beat him 10 times out of 10.

      Be real for **** sake.

The only way I can see Salita getting a fight with Khan is if he seriously tears up 140. He'd have to get some huge wins under his belt.

I can't see him beating Bradley or even Ortiz so I can't see any way Salita gets another shot at Khan.

The real question is: Can Salita come back from that much stronger and be dominant? That would be the true test of his mettle.

If Salita does get another shot at the title I think he should have to earn it by fighting top contenders. I feel everyone deserves a second chance because as you said, things happen in fights like these.

He should have to face a guy like Victor Ortiz or Kendall Holt or maybe even a Randall Bailey or Ricardo Torres type. Salita put himself in position for a title shot by fighting relatively nondescript opposition. If he wants to rally public support behind him for a second shot he should step up his quality of opposition and make a statement.

The speed of that 1-2 after 10 seconds would have caught anybody. Khan is improving very quickly. I have long been a harsh critic of his,but before this fight I had the utmost respect for the way he has turned himself around. He had to make a big decision about changing trainers and uprooting to LA at such a young age,but the improvement curve he is on has been far more than I expected. He is world class at the moment, whether he is a world beater though, remains to be seen.

The first line of your post is pretty telling. Can he? we will see,but Khan has done just that himself and far exceeded expectations, which to be fair are always going to be low after being kayoed in the first round.

He's going to have to rebuild his brand spectacularly to warrant a rematch against Khan and from what i've seen of Salita I just don't think he's good enough.

Dmitry Salita won't ever get a rematch against Khan and rightly so. Any top 10 light welterweight would beat him easily.

In other words to get a rematch or another shot at the title he would have to get some good wins over top 10 quality opposistion. And he won't do that.

He simply does not have the skills or ability to ever become an elite level fighter.

I know it hurts for you Salita fanboys but he just aint very good and thats the truth.

That's what happens when you get a title shot without facing even a single person in the top 20. Salita is a good boxer, he simply just isn't world class.
