Can you shut the **** up and stop talkin **** about hopkins in every thread, if your going to, quit sayin DeLaHoya was a mismatch, I'm sure just about all the boxing fans wanted to see that fight at the time and why shouldnt he fight dlh for all that fame and money
Whoa Hey!... LOL!... Easy tiger... You know, being rude like that just show's that you're ignorant, incapable of having a discussion... And a bit of a loose canon.
This wasn't an award of the decade... It was 2004' manager of the year award.
That's really up to him if he wishes to train, manager, promote, and box himself... There are many other fighters out there that do the same thing.
Personally I wouldn't call - Daniels, Hakker, "shot to pieces" Joppy, "for the 7th time" Allen, "miss-match" De La Hoya, a good way on capitalising on a victory over the Welterweight champ Trinidad. - Maybe if he'd have let someone else manager/promote him, he may have been able to get some meaningfull fights?
while all that doesn't seem like ****. it was more than any other manager in 2004....i didn't see anyone of them step into the ring...one....two, he fought all his mandatories, some chumps ,but, that aint his falt. his job is to fight and defend his title. three, he has managed most, if not all his career and still got 20 title defences. look either way, we could go on about this and that, who he fought, he should have fought better guys and ****. but you fail to realize that he has fought the biggest monster in boxing and still is fighting him and has been pretty good at it too, and thats don king. you know for nearly a decade king did everything he could to keep hopkins off of tv fights. and he still managed himself and keep on winning, and put himself in the postion to where he couldn't be denied....you can hate...fine, but it's obvious......and whether or not YOU like what he's done, he is recognized by his peers and thats why he got manager of the year........nuff said...
