Williams is just a busier version of JT....
But he suffers from the same issues that made pavlik famous..
      dropping his lead hand.

A 1-2 guy like pavlik banks on you dropping your lead.. thats how he became famous. Miranda drops it, Taylor drops it.. and go figure.. he KO'd both of them.

I strongly believe pavlik wins with a shot that many people weren't expecting.
Williams comes in flicking/backhanding his jab, and gets caught with a right, right over it since he doesnt protect himself

So you don't want a rematch, Burner?

I think we all want one and you should, too.

        FOTY, Martinez deserves one.

This. Paul is an easy target, so is Pavlik. And I'm willing to bet Pavlik hits way harder, and we saw Martinez knock that boy half way across the ring, Pavlik can connect once and knock him out.

I dod think Willams is overall too awkward and quick for Pavlik's slower ploddng style. I lso think he's too good of an inside fighter that style. pavlik would be beaten up on the inside pretty badly.

All that said, Willy gets hit cleanly so much. Pavlk is by far and away the best puncher Williams has ever. He could still get caught and stopped.

ITS A ****EN HOOK THAT KILLS PAUL WILLIAMS, NOT A STRAIGHT RIGHT HAND
                I agree with this.
Paul Williams will overwhelm Pavlik with so many punches and Pavlik won't be able to answer back cause he can't throw short punches.
Pavlik can only throw straight punches when his feet is set from a distance.

I agree with most of your post... When I heard Paul Williams choose Sergio Martinez as his replacement for Pavlik I immedietly thought, "he's either never seen Martinez fight or he's crazy"... Pavlik doesnt have half the skills of craftiness as Martinez, I think Williams UD's him

Pavlik went life and death with Miranda and all of a sudden he can beat Williams? On top of barely squeaking by Taylor in both of those fights. Yeah, he destroyed both of those guys but Pavlik got hit a lot and Taylor is a C level fighter at best as evidenced by his performance against Cory Spinks and his draw with an old Winky Wright. Yeah, Paul fought an even older version, but he still shut him out. Williams would be the toughest opponent of Pavlik's career besides Hopkins. If you think Pavlik would beat Williams that's fine. But don't think he'll do it easy. Pavlik's defense is even worse than Paul's.
