Martinez held his own when he traded with Paul. I'd pick him in a rematch. Paul sparring with Quintana wasn't as useful as we thought it would be.

Dude, Paul ****s Pavlik up. The way Sergio throws punches and the way Pavlik throws punches is completely different. People need to study up on how to set up punches. Pavlik is too stationary and will be a crab in a barrel for Williams. Sergio was catching Paul with FAST power hooks that Paul wasn't seeing.

There is absolutely NOTHING that SERGIO did today that Pavlik can do..

He would have knocked the Hoax's ass out right there. You guys are comparing a skilled southpaw like Martinez who was arguably the best at 154 to the Hoax?, the Hoax is more one dimensional than Margarito.

Of course many newbies here will be talking about the Hoax winning by one round KO and all that ****. Those newbies need to be visiting the ignore list immediately, these clowns are garbage.

The Hoax doesn't even look good against fuccing Rubio. Williams just fought an opponent at middleweight arguably better than everyone, except for Taylor, that the Hoax fought and Williams isn't even 100% middleweight.

This is Williams' replacement for the Hoax because the Hoax canceled after suffering a thumb injury, who is the Hoax fighting?, Lockett's father?

Williams just gave you one of the best middleweight fights of the past few years. What did the Hoax give?, oh yeah, let's not talk about what happened against 43 year old Hopkins who the same newbies thought would knock Hopkins out cold in three.

You newbies need to jump out of the window, face first and rid us of your pathetic mentality. You could give your eyes to a fuccing goat and it would make more use of it.

I had Paul wining by one round.....just one..

When Sergio moved and boxed and shot that left...Paul was in trouble...when Sergio wanted to play big balls and slug with Paul..he payed dearly.

Sergio also wasted alot of energy in the early rounds..he shot his load....as evidence to him dropping to his knees in exhaustion...Paul looked like he couldve went 3 more rounds...

It was close as hell though.....both men dropped..it was a war..I loved it.

BUT this fight was not a robbery...there are people who can make a case for either fighter......

I think Paul won because he was busier...Sergio was gassed and said after the fight he took rounds off to save himself for later and it cost him.

Props to the punisher for even fighting this guy...his style is all wrong for him.

All that ****ing moving and dodging..we might not see Paul fight a slick lefty again...

and on Pavlik....

LOOK....

Pavlik is not fast...slick or crafty..or left handed...

Sergio has head movement..foot speed..and very fast hands .....I never seen a guy at 160 that ****ing fast..seriously.

PAVLIK...is slow and lumbering and cant move like Sergio..kinda like how winky couldnt...

When sergio was getting tired and was NOT MOVING..Paul was tagging him....thats what Pavlik will do most of the fight..be right in Pauls face.

Paul beats the **** out of Pavlik......

Those are my thoughts.

They both belong in the P4P rankings....

OH YEAH TO THE BOARDS:::

DONT EVER SAY PAUL HASNT FOUGHT ANYBODY EVER AGAIN...BECAUSE MARTINEZ IS A MONSTER.

i think pwill will beat pavlik...but the difference b/w a fight with martinez and pavlik is that if pavlik lands flush, williams won't be standing...he will be on shaky legs or on the ground
