This is exactly my take. I had 114-114, can see 7-5 either way.

Is it out of line to suggest that Pierre Benoist's 119-110 card was even more disgraceful than the two judges who stole the fight from Funeka last weekend? I mean damn, I guess he scored the 1st round even, and then only gave Martinez one round beyond that, which is nothing short of disgraceful, in fact worthy of license revocation.

dude williams knocks pavlik out are you kidding?
williams almost got ko'd 7 times tonight by a junior middleweight with not power and a little pop.

pavlik has a crushing right and power in both hands and comes in on fight day weighing 172.

      be realistic

I know Paul and his manager and there is NO WAY Paul will fight ANYBODY else until the Martinez mess is sorted out.
I think Paul would win the second fight much easier as it was clear he was figuring Sergio out and adjusting from the 4th round on. I think he should wait to see about the Pavlik fight first before rematching anything

Dude I am a Paul Williams fan but I can assure you that even HE believes that score was BS. I personally think it was a draw and I think in a rematch he will do to Martinez what he did to Quintana. And Paul couldn't get a decent sparring partner who was a southpaw thats why they called in Quintana to try to exploit some of his weaknesses against southpaw fighter.

I agree with everything you said except "Paul won clearly". I don't think Manny Stewart was nut-hugging PWill as much as just trying to balance out Kellerman and Lampley's cheerleading for Martinez. Both guys won tonight, and so did the fans.

So that cut and swollen eye and knockdown were from pitty pat punches? Face it. Williams was way more beat up than Sergio.

For those that claim he got exposed, consider he had to make an adjustment from a conventional fighter to a southpaw. Any boxer knows there is a significant different. Also, Paul got hit a lot in the Quintana fight AND the Mitchell fight. Well, not as hard in the Mitchell fight, but nevertheless he got hit. He has problems with southpaws. But NOBODY can take away from that gritty performance. And I LIKE MARTINEZ. That dude can fight. I liked him after the Cintron fight and I am really digging the dude now. And unlike all you Gayweather ****riders, when asked if he wanted the rematch, he basically said YES. How can you NOT like a dude who was in a war and wants a rematch. Lets do it at 154 for Sergio's strap.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floyd_Mayweather... just for the uneducated looser who can't even remember a name right and tries to mix in his sexual preference... what has this fight to do with Mayweather???

Great fight, great effort by both these guys. I thought Martinez won but still hard to speak of a robbery... it was close. The scorecard was a joke obviously.

That's the reason why I said before P-Will is hard to fight... it's his size. Tonight it pretty much only proved it. If it wasn't for his size and throwing a ton of punches in the air were Martinez was resting a little bit it would have been a win even by a bigger margin. If P-Will would be 5'8 he would be nothing special. Dude has to learn to use his height or he will get beat up worse at 54 and 60. I though before the fight that Pavlik has a good chance of beating him and it hasn't chance. His chin like I supposed is questionable and he is very hittable for somebody who throws straight at him... Pavlik is a pretty good straight thrower and his power is above Martinez... I as well think that a guy who bob and weaves a bit and has power would kill him... guys like Kirkland with a little more experience etc.

I before thought that P-Will would beat Mosley and I'm not so sure anymore... if Mosey fights backwards and sits on his right hand like he did against Margarito it could end worse for P-Will.

After seeing what a guy like Martinez did with his feet to him... I don't think we have to talk about Mayweather anymore... this would be a clinic. Mayweather is used to getting pressured and doesn't tires.

After this fight I'm really not sure if P-Will should probably stay at 147... like said... his chin looked solid at 147. He was clearly hurt even afterwards in the interview probably an mild concussion... dude really looked bad, like he wasn't really there

wtf are you talking about maybe the black man steward was leaning towards paul cause he is black and he was being racist towards the latino fighting from another country. Seriously steward comments really showed that he was biased towards the black guy because when williams was getting rocked he kept denying didn't give martinez credit at all, when lampley and kellerman did give credit to williams they aknowledge his heart and toughness but were keppint it real that martinez was landing the cleaner and crispier punches and you call that racist towards black people??

Yeah. I always thought Pavlik had a chance and groupies on here act like Williams is unbeatable when the man has no D. I think Shane should challenge him at 147. I think he would destroy him now. Sergio had his hands down the whole fight and Williams couldn't capitalize. He was also able to sit down on his punches then move away. I think Shane could beat Williams. I think moving up and down in wait is going to cost him severely.
