Great fight. The score of 119-110 by one judge was ridiculous. I could see either guy winning by two points or a draw, but definitely not a near shutout by Williams. Up until the 8th round, I thought Williams was going to get KOd. I agree that there should be a rematch.

See an ya hate on max so much but he did the right thing tonight calling out that judges score card and I think people must keep on doing that so that those types of score cards don't happen again like in the guzman vs funeka fight. Nd you guys need to stop blaming Us judges or german judges because it happends all the time and all over the world not just one part of the world. And by the way I had a draw but could see it how Paul won props to both fighters for a great fight I am now a Martinez fan after that.

I didn't like that one judge's scorecard either, but these people calling Williams a hype job are way off base. The guy showed mad heart and won the 12th round when he knew the fight was on the table. He didn't run like a ***** like Cotto always has. P-Will was trying to KO the dude in the last round.

Also, I still say that Williams outboxes the **** out of Pavlik and maybe even stops him. He's there to be hit unlike Martinez was. Martinez fought a good fight as well, but he tired down the stretch like the commentating crew was pointing out and he also did a lot of clinching. It would've been a better fight if he hadn't have done that even though it was still a sick fight. He tied up Paul Williams to smother his work and to take rest periods. It did seem like he landed the harder shots. But Williams also bruised up the upper part of the left side of his face despite Williams being cut and swollen up as well.
