no one is caliming dawson is an ATG or a legend.

besides, its the begining of his career and that is not a bad way to start. calzaghe ended his career with those wins you talk about and thats where he got all his hype from. who knows what dawson does from here on, but in the end, he has the chance of probably trumpeting calzaghes career.

i dont know why calzaghe got hate when he was 36-37 and fought hopkins 43 and roy 39...dawson is ****ing 27 just fought 4 fights in a row with the same 2 40 year olds now he's chasing a 45 year old hopkins..thats sad as hell..fight cloud,pascal..or another prime 175 pound fighter

i'm really not trying to sound like a hater but it's american double standard, simple as that.

If it was just one Tarver fight then you could say it's equivalent to a Jones fight. Both were washed up while Jones was obviously a waaaay better fighter in his prime.

The fact that Dawson dorpped the belt and ended up fighting Tarver a second time is absurd.

Not fighting Cloud, Diaconu, or Pasal - 2 fights with johnson and all this as a 25/26 yr old vs Calzaghe being 36/37, obviously not the same.
