This rematch is interesting for two reasons.
#1 The first fight was good. Both guys showed respect for both the fight game and the fans by showing-up conditoned. That seems almost rare these days (recall Sanders and Oscar)
#2 Both fighters do not adjust. Meaning, they will pretty much fight the same fight we saw last time.
Difference is that Golota will probably stay busier, because he knows thats what is required to beat the pitty-patt Byrd. Also, Byrd has been hurt by a big guy and knows that Golota will be better conditioned than the guy that floor him on Supremacy Night.
I like Golota in this one, by TKO, mid rounds. Golota learned his lesson. Once a guy is hurt, you stay busy. Byrd won't like it much.Comment

That was a great post, I agree with you 100%, plus you're right, both fighters don't adjust at all, I like how you looked at it. Nice Job.Originally posted by MunnThis rematch is interesting for two reasons.

Plus.... if the flu-bug had not nailed Golota a few days before the Lewis fight, I think that would have been a toss-up.Originally posted by Atwa_66That was a great post, I agree with you 100%, plus you're right, both fighters don't adjust at all, I like how you looked at it. Nice Job.Comment

um.. McCline was very well conditioned when they fought, and actually moves pretty well for a 270 lb man. McCline's problem is he has no punch for a man his size.Originally posted by Munn...and knows that Golota will be better conditioned than the guy that floor him on Supremacy Night...Comment
