Robinson was not born in Detroit. Born in GA but moved to Detroit when he was one years old.

And, Pennsylvania has more ATG's than Michigan.
Ray should be considered a New York fighter. No, PA does not have more ATG fighters. Ketchel, Hearns, Mayweather, and Louis are all top 40 fighters in the history of the sport. How many top 40 fighters came from PA and don't say BHOP because he isn't top 40.

Why is B-Hop not top 40? And, B-Hop is ATG. Floyd is not top 40 and you are claiming him as ATG.

The number is just a number, you could say top 50 or whatever. All I know is Mayweathers career is more impressive than Hopkins. I don't feel like breaking down their careers and who fought who but I will say Mayweather was much more dominant at 130 than Hopkins was at middleweight. Hop fought a ton of small guys while Mayweather took on the very best at his division. A guy like Chico Corrales was a much more established fighter at the weight than anyone Hop took on during his middleweight reign. Fighting Tito and DLH outside of their normal weight classes doesn't get much from me.

Even if you rate Hopkins higher than Mayweather who else does Philly have running for em? Frazier would just cancel out Hearns. You still have Louis who is by most historians top 5 all time and Ketchel who by many was top 20 and if he wasn't murdered could of been much higher.

But, Philly is not a state is a city in the state of Pennsylvania. Harry Greb is arguably in the top 5, Larry Holmes who is top 50, Billy Conn who is also arguably in the top 50, Charles Burley was is ranked in the top 40 or 50, Bob Montgomery who is arguably in the top 50, And, you have other fighters like Harold Johnson, and Philadelphia Jack O'brien. All of these fighters come out of the state of Pennsylvania.

Charles Kid McCoy ****s on Billy Conn and a bunch of those fringe guys. PA may of produced more world champions but when we talk about ATG it loses imo. ATG fighters have to be very special. You got me on Gerb though. I didn't realize he was from PA.

You consider Montgomery and Burley fringe guys not ATG? I think both were very special. Holmes fringe? I don't know bro... But, I don't care I am not from PA. I just know that New York, PA, and Michigan have the best fighters...
