Hoya would never stand and exchange with any hard puncher.

you obviously didn't see Mosley vs DLH 1 and 2
        or DLH vs Quartey
        or DLH vs Vargas
or DLH vs Chavez 1 and 2
        or DLH vs Ruelas
        or DLH vs Gatti
        or DLH vs Rivera
        or DLH vs Molina
        or DLH vs Mayorga

Oscar stood toe to toe with Shane for two reasons, 1. Shane was coming up from 135 and he felt that he was naturally bigger than Shane, that he could take that risk, but it backfired on him. and 2. Oscar was ridiculed for running against TITO in their fight, so he stood and traded with Shane to silence the critics..

There is no doubt the Trinidad fight was in his head. He was probably winning after 8 rds and than ran out of gas in the late rounds. That is something that occured to him in probably in altest 4 of his 6 defeats, he was winning after 8rds: In Trinidad fight, both Mosley fights, and the Mayweather fight. I had him winning PBF 5-3 after 8 rounds, than have him losing the last 4 to lose 115-113. Although in my personal opinion he still deserved a draw against Trinidad and i thought he won the second mosley fight 115-113.
