    Floyd -- 19 years old (1996) -- 131 lbs
    Pac ---- 19 years old (19996) -- 112 lbs
Floyd 19 lbs. heavier at the same age

    Floyd -- 5' 8.0" --- 72" reach
    Pac ---- 5' 6.5" --- 67" reach

So, Floyd = about 19 lbs heavier, naturally; 1.5" taller; 5" more reach.

PBF is a couple of divisions heavier, naturally, than Pac. Forget about what they were at 16 years old. This is post-puberty or whatever.

For comparison, Cotto has the same reach (67") as Pacquiao. And we all recall how Floyd physically towered over JMM.

Pac is smaller. Considerably smaller. There's no real way around that, no matter how Team PBF tries to spin stories about being 16.

I can't believe the number of sheep in here that actually believe that Brian Kenny downgraded the fight.

I already stated that Pac would have to fight the perfect gameplan against Pavlik. I said Pac can't go toe to toe with Pavlik cuz it would be lights out. But, I think Pac is highly capable of fighting the perfect fight against Pavlik.

What weights they were at 19 doesnt matter.
Sure Pac is a bit smaller but Floyd isnt a natural welterweight either, and Manny has looked excellent in his fights agaisnt Oscar and Cotto.

I don't think they are the same size now. Floyd is bigger.

i agree floyd is probably 1-2 divisions bigger than pac for me.

i don't judge by weight and height and reach though.

i look at a guys frame.

no matter how much weight and muscle people put on their frame is still the same.

floyd has a lightweight frame. pacquiao has a featherweight frame.

and before people talk about fight night weights , how many fights they had at certain weights , who they beat in a division and stuff......compare those guys build to others in their division.

look at mosley's frame or berto's or clottey's frame and compare it to floyd's even when they're at the same weight division. floyd is not a welterweight.

all you have to do with pac is compare his frame to david diaz at 135.

By what a couple pounds and half a inch?

Is pacaman not great enough to overcome such a minimal size defferential?
