Anyone get kinda annoyed when poeple talk about boxing?

now that its in the main stream, people all over facebook and ******* talking shi t like they know about boxing with pacquiao and mayweather..yeah im glad boxing is back and people are talking about it again. but i dont know it just annoys me that everyone thinks they know about. anybody dig what im sayin?

Its good like you say for the popularity but it is annoying when they start talking all the general stuff and dont really know boxing. You can always tell the people that dont know much, they kind of just generalize and act like they know more than you by stating the obvious. They're kind of like the Filipino Pac fans.

I don't think that boxing will ever be a mainstream sport as it was 80 years ago but I think it's great that boxing is picking up fans. A few of these new people will remain fans long after their idols are gone but most of them will just fade away. Still, the way I look at it, the more boxing fans the more demand there will be for good fights.

THEREFORE

Nuture them along by recommending great fights. "Oh you like Pac? Have you seen [Gatti, Whitacker, Duran, JCC, Roy Jones] -- whatever you think would be a good next step.

When you meet them you are the ambassador to boxing. Yeah, I know I waxing poetic now, but still -- the more boxing fans the more fights there will be.

So, let's rope them in.

theres nothing on this planet that i hate more. and that is pac fans..im filipino but i hate people who watch boxing because of pacquiao and think they know the sport..i mean yes. pacquiao is a badass and is only once in a lifetime. its understandable that he has filipinos going crazy..my girlfriends cousin is a pac fan. i cannot stand her, haha

Any pub is good put but yes, it does get annoying. I try to talk to people to get them interested into the sport but if they ever start debating and I can tell they don't know **** I just walk away or change the subject. It's all good either way.

i know what you mean and it does my head in,i was trying to explian to a guy that mannys win over hatton was no fluke and hes a great fighter but the guy would have none of it,he said the black amercian guy was lucky to beat hatton because the ref kept holding hatton back in the early rounds or he would have battered the black amercian,oh yea by the way he didnt actully know mayweathers name and thought manny just got lucky with one punch,by the end of it i called him a ignorant **** and told him to *** off but he still wouldnt give pbf or manny any criedt for thier wins.haha
