    LOL.

    It is kind of annoying.

But it is nice to see people talk boxing (as misguided as they may be).

I know what you mean. It's kinda fun for me though because I get to see what casual fans think about boxing and their point of views on Mayweather-Pacquiao.

To be honest I have across some pretty knowledgeable boxing casual fans. They use common sense to understand the weights, purse split, and styles.

I have also come across the casual fans who say "Pacquiao is better than Floyd because he beat the same fighters he beat, faster than he did" which are the easiest one to shut with simple facts.

That's true, although so many of these n00bz seem to acquire a little knowledge and then start acting like Bert Sugar, trying to school you on something like Jack Johnson losing to a lightweight version of Duran! It's amusing, at least.

Yeah, its definitely not unusual for casual/new fans to pull some silly triangle theory out of their asses. They go for that every time.

I'm happy if someone just takes an interest in boxing - however little they know. English boxing's gone through a bit of a lull though recently. Sky will be the only channel broadcasting fights here soon, and you've got champs like Froch walking round their own home towns hardly getting recognised. Loved it during the Haye/Valuev build-up - when people actually wanted to speak to me about boxing! I'm currently trying to get my girlfriend into boxing too, even if at the moment it only goes as far as 'Ooh, that Kessler's got nice tattoos!"

No offense dude but the sport of boxing really never went anywhere just part-time fans taking a casual look only when superstar athletes (i.e. Manny/Floyd) make noise. But to answer your question it annoys me more when these part-time fans try to pit Boxing Vs MMA as if that horse hasn’t been beat already.

                    Peace.

Haha, that is exactly what some one I work with called him and this idiot also said that Pacquiao was going to kill Mayweather. I just asked him to tell me who each boxer's last opponents were and how Pacquiao was going to kill him that was a bust so I asked him if he'd like to put some cash on it and he was having none of that so. He also said that he wasn't going to watch the fight so I walked away laughing. I cannot stand idiots.
